Detailed description of Brushy Mountain Country Club
Brushy Mountain Country Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Taylorsville, North Carolina.
Brushy Mountain Country Club first opened for play in 1963. William B. Lewis, Jr. designed the course.
The course offers enough terrain variation to challenge any level of golfer. A stream that flows throughout the course and comes into play on many holes.
The signature hole is #3, a 349-yard, par 4, which tees off downhill, then requires an approach shot over a stream to the green.
Black tees: par-72, 6,944 yards, 73.5 / 140
Blue tees: par-72, 6,456 yards, 71.8 / 134
White tees: par-72, 6,079 yards, 70.0 / 127
Gold tees: par-72, 5,625 yards, 68.1 / 123
Green tees: par-72, 5,033 yards, 65.2 / 117
Red tees: par-72, 3,711 yards, 62.6 / 103

This is the best course I've played all year. The weather was great, the course was in excellent shape, and I found the pro shop staff to be very friendly.
